GHAZNI CITY (PAN executed a man on the charge kidnapping a child in the Qarabagh district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Monday.
“The man was captured by the rebels, days after he abducted a minor from Ghazni City. Yesterday, the Taliban told residents of their plan to punish the kidnapper,” the governor’s spokesman said.
Sabawoon told Pajhwok Afghan News the insurgents hanged the kidnapper from a tree on Monday morning. However, the spokesman would not give details about the victim or the abducted child.
A member of the district council, Jan Mohammad, said the fighters had captured a kidnapper and a police official in Qarabagh two days back. The captors said both would be put to death.
