PUL-I- KHUMRI (PAN joined the peace process in the Baghlan-i-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province on Tuesday.

Associated with the Gulbadin Hekmatyar-led party, the group was active in Baisqal area under Mohammad Ibrahim, who turned in 18 weapons and 20 hand grenades to the authorities.

Brig. Gen. Asadullah Sherzad, provincial police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the ex-fighters had promised to cooperate with the government.
