FARAH CITY (PAN): Three people were killed and 13 others wounded in road crash in the Bala Baluk district of western Farah province on Monday morning, an official said.
The head-on collision between a passenger bus and a truck took place on the Farah-Herat highway, traffic officer Abdul Samad Farahi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Drivers of both vehicles and a cleaner were among the dead, he said, adding the wounded were evacuated to the provincial civil hospital.
Hospital Director Dr Abdul Jabbar Shaiq confirmed receiving 13 wounded people. One woman and two men were in critical condition, he said.
