KABUL clinic was inaugurated in the Deh Rawud district of central Uruzgan province on Wednesday, when repair work on a key highway finished in Maidan Wardak province.
An inaugural ceremony for the ward, costing $5 million, was attended by provincial and district officials, besides a large number of tribal elders, the governor’s house said.
In Maidan Wardak, repairs of several damaged portions of the Kabul-Kandahar highway were completed at a cost of seven million afghanis, said the governor’s spokesman.
Elsewhere, the foundation stone of a mosque Office, the mosque is estimated to cost $25,000.
