KABUL’s Future — was established on Friday for strengthening cooperation between the people and the government.
At the inaugural ceremony, the council’s deputy head, Amir Jan Saza, told Pajhwok Afghan News they would struggle for unity among different ethnic communities.
He said it would also make efforts at building public confidence in the government which would help foster democracy in Afghanistan.
Nearly 2,500 individuals were invited from different provinces to participate in the inauguration ceremony in Kabul, said another member of the council, Aminullah.
He added they would launch work in the near future in Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Bamyan, Parwan, Baghlan, Samangan, Balkh, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces.
