KABUL’s troubled northwestern city of Peshawar on Thursday.
FRP deputy commandant Gul Wali Khan was travelling from home to office in the Gulbahar area, where four gunmen on two motorcycles, lying in wait on both sides of the road, opened fire at his vehicle.
Khan was shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in injured condition, but doctors declared him out of danger, Geo News quoted a spokesman for the hospital as saying. He also confirmed receiving two bodies.
Security forces launched an investigation into the incident, for which no group has so far claimed responsibility.
