CHAGHCHARAN (PAN province,an official said on Wednesday.

The clash between Taimani and Raza tribesmen took place on Tuesday night in a village near the provincial capital, provincial crime
branch chief, Maj. Noor Ali Asiri, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
An ex-Afghan Local Police (ALP) commander, Fazal Alhad, a Taimani tribesman, attacked the rivals, killing two and injuring four.
Police had reached the scene to bring the situation under control, he said, accusing both tribes of having illegal armed groups.

He said police were searching for Fazal Alhad to arrest him.
The governor’s spokesman, Abdul Hai Khatibi, said the two tribes had an years-old enmity that had left many killed and wounded from both sides.
He said the two tribes had once reconciled but later resumed hostile acts against each other in violation of a peace agreement.
Officials said Fazal Alhad recently whipped three rival tribesmen in the Dolina district.
Pajhwok has obtained two video clips, showing Fazal Alhad lashing a man.
