KABUL, calling on Afghan rebels to follow suit.
The Pakistani Taliban have finalised a 15-point draft for talks with the government after the long-awaited talks aimed to end the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) insurgency began between committees of both sides few days ago.
The Cabinet that met at the Presidential Palace in Kabul in a statement said peace and war in one neighbouring country had a direct impact on the other. It added dialogue could end the ongoing conflict and allow a sigh of relief to the people of both countries.
The statement also called on the Afghan Taliban to enter negotiations with the High Peace Council (HPC) to end the decades-long suffering of the nation, which was witness to years of civil war and ongoing conflict.
