Taliban’s deputy district chief gunned down

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): The Taliban province has been killed in armed clash with police, an official said on Friday.

Col. Mahmood Andarabi, a senior police official, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Maulvi Abdul Jabbar was killed in a gunbattle with police the other day.

After the clash, a roadside bombing left two policemen dead and another wounded when their vehicle they were travelling in struck the device, he added.
