KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah has held talks on bilateral cooperation with Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov, a report said on Monday.
During the meeting in Astana, the two sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in areas of trade, commerce, culture and on humanitarian issues.
They also exchanged views on the regional security environment. Following the talks, the sides called for deepening collaboration in state-to-state relations.
Tajikistan’s prime minister also held talks with Abdullah on cooperation between Tajikistan and Afghanistan in the fields of energy, transportation, security and trade.
Regional leaders are in the Central Asian country to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of heads of government.
