KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have detained two teenage alleged suicide bombers during separate incidents in the central capital Kabul, sources said on Monday. The National Directorate of Security (NDS) in a statement said its operatives detained an 18-year-old alleged suicide bomber and his facilitators in the limits of the 17th police district. It said the would-be attacker had confessed to receiving training at a religious school in Peshawar, the capital of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The statement identified the would-be bomber as Shamsuddin, a resident of Tala wa Barfark district of northern Baghlan province. His two associates, Farahuddin and Ghulam Farooq, who helped him reach Kabul, had also been detained, the statement said.
