KABUL Zamir Kabulov on Wednesday said entrepreneurs from his country were eager to invest in Afghanistan’s transportation and housing sectors.
The Russian diplomat expressed these views during a meeting with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in Kabul, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
Ghani said: “We have formulated our foreign policy on the principles of expansion of bilateral ties with counties including the Central Asian states.”
He welcomed Russian investment and said cooperation in the areas of trade and commerce would further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
The statement added the Russian envoy assured Ghani of his country’s complete support in the development of different sectors of the Afghan economy.
