JALALABAD (PAN): Hundreds of poor families received wheat assistance in Hesarak district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Monday.

Provided by the World Food Programme (WFP), the aid was distributed through the Nangarhar Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.

As many as 2,570 sacks of wheat were distributed to 1,250 families in nine villages of the district, Director of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Akmal Humayun told Pajhwok Afghan News.
