LASHKARGAH (PAN): Three women and a man were shot dead and their bodies dumped on the side of a road in southern Helmand province, officials said on Saturday.
The four were killed Friday night and police recovered their bodies on Saturday morning in the Greshk district, the district police chief, Lt. Zamaray, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Relatives of the dead had not yet come to take the bodies, the police official said.
The people might have been killed by Taliban, a resident of the area, Abdul Qadar, said, adding that the dead man was not related to the women.
Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, said he had no information about the incident.
