LASHKARGHAH (PAN): Two Afghan soldiers were among four people injured in a bombing on Saturday in southern Helmand province, officials said.
The explosion took place on Saturday morning when explosives fitted on a motorcycle detonated near members of the Afghan National Army (ANA) in Kakrai area of Gharmsair district, the governor's spokesman, Daud Ahmadi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Two soldiers and two civilians were wounded in the blast, he added.
Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, said one of their fighters carried out the suicide attack. He said 13 ANA soldiers and policemen were killed.
A resident of the area, Naimatullah, said he heard an explosion, but could not say if it was a blast or suicide attack.
