Feb 19, 2011 - 17:18

KUNDUZ CITY (PANinfo-icon): Security forces discovered depot of explosives and weapons in northern Kunduz province, officials said on Saturday.

The dump included 90 mortar shells, 80 warheads, four anti-vehicle mines and a large quantity of ammunitions, Kunduz police chief, Brig. Gen. Abdul Rahman Syedkheli, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Belonging to a Talibaninfo-icon commander, Qari Shoaib, the weapons were found in a house in the Ainulmujar village of Chardara district.

Resident Noor Muhammad said: "Qari Shoaib lived in the house during his presence in the area." He left the house a month back.
