ANA bodybuilding club opens in Uruzgan
TIRINKOT (PAN): The first of its kind, a bodybuilding club for Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers was inaugurated in central Uruzgan province on Saturday, an official said.
Equipment for the club was donated by NATO-led Australian troops stationed in Uruzgan, a 205th ANA Corps commander, Brig. Gen. Mohammad Zafar, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Previously, he said, Afghan soldiers had a volleyball ground in Tirinkot, the provincial capital, but lacked a bodybuilding club. They were trying to provide similar facilities for troops at the district level, the commander added.
Volleyball, football and bodybuilding facilities were available in Uruzgan, said Capt. Ibrahim, who was busy doing a variety of workouts at the club.
