2 more ISAF soldiers killed

KABULinfo-icon(PANinfo-icon): Two international soldiers were killed in a roadside bombing in eastern Afghanistaninfo-icon, the alliance said on Tuesday.

Two International Security Assistance Force (ISAFinfo-icon) soldiers died on Monday following an improvised explosive device attack in the eastern part of the country, a brief statement from the media office of the coalition, said.

In line with its policy, the alliance neither revealed the nationalities of the fallen soldiers, nor the exact location of the incident. US soldiers are fighting against insurgents in eastern Afghanistan.

Since the beginning of 2011, 67international servicemembers have been killed in Afghanistan. Last year, 711 foreign troops were killed in the country. Over the past 10 years 2,348 foreign soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan.
