PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): Foreign troops arrested a man soon after a roadside bomb ripped through their tank in the Bark-i-Barak district of central Logar province on Thursday, an official said.
The explosion that took place before noon in Mohmand area caused no casualties, but damaged a tank of foreign forces, the district chief, Mohammad Rahim Amin, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
"After the blast, the international forces chased a cable connection to the bomb and arrested a man from a nearby house," the official said.
An area resident, Mohammad Obaid, said the blast damaged the tank, but he had no information about casualties.
As usual, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, with rebel spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid saying two foreign soldiers were killed and as many injured.
The incident came two days after an explosion killed four Afghan soldiers and an interpreter with international forces in Charkh district.
