Private radio station goes on air in Kandahar
KANDAHAR CITY (PAN): A private radio station launched its broadcast in southern Kandahar province on Saturday, an official said.
Nabi Sahil, in charge of Gurbat Radio, told Pajhwok Afghan News they currently covered Faryab, Maidan Wardak and Kandahar provinces.
The radio station airs broadcasts for 18 hours at a frequency 91.7 MHz. In the near future, Gurbat will cover other provinces of the country, according to Sahil.
