7 injured in traffic accident in Ghazni
GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Seven people were injured when a car and van collided on the Ghazni-Paktika highway in the southern province of Ghazni on Monday, officials said.
The accident took place at around 9am and was caused by the carelessness of the driver of the private security company van, district police chief, first Lt. Asadullah Shojaai, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Five guards of the private security company and two civilians were injured in the incident, which happened in Khani Qala area of Andar district, he said.
The civilians were taken to the district hospital, while other guards took care of their injured colleagues, Shojaai, said.
"The incident occurred due to careless driving of the security company driver, injuring seven people," a witness, Saleh Mohammad, said.
