Helmand appellate court building inaugurated
LASHKARGAH (PAN): A building for the appellate court of southern Helmand province was inaugurated on Monday, officials said.
The two-storey building has 19 rooms and two meeting halls, the governor of Helmand, Mohammad Gulab Mangal, told Pajhwok Afghan News during the inaugural ceremony.
The building cost $870,000 (39.28 million afghanis) and was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), he said.
Mangal asked justice officials to improve their work and investigate all cases on time in order to win people’s trust in the government.
