KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): A man who wanted to smuggle heroin in his stomach to India was arrested at the Kabul International Airport, a police official said on Monday.

The smuggler, Qasim, was detained on Friday, Brig. Gen. Mohammad Juma Adeel, commander of the airport's border police battalion, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said that Qasim had 92 heroin-filled capsules in his stomach, containing 666 grams of heroin. Forensic examinations proved that he had capsules in his abdomen, Adeel said.

The smuggler said that it was his seventh time he was smuggling heroin to New Delhi, the capital of India.
