Kidnapped son of district chief found dead
QALAT (PAN): The son of a district chief in southern Zabul province, who was kidnapped a week ago, was founded dead, an official said on Wednesday.
Mohammad Hashim, son of Arghandab district chief, Mohammad Afzal, went missing from Kakaran Cheena area of Qalat city on Thursday, the Zabul governor’s spokesman, Mohammad Jan Rasoulyar, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
His body was found Tuesday night in the desert between Qalat city and Mizan district. He was buried on Wednesday in Qalat city, Rasoulyar said.
Hashim ran a mobile phone shop Qalat city.
No group has taken the responsibility for the murder so far.
