LASHKARGAH (PAN): At least two people were injured on Tuesday morning in a blast in the southern province of Helmand, an official said.
The explosion took place at the door of an office on the second floor of a market in Lashkargah City, the capital of the province, Lt. Mahmud Noorzai, head of first police district, told Pajhwok Afghan News. Two men were seen placing the explosives at the door, he said.
Two people were injured in the blast and had taken to hospital, he said.
But a witness, Samiullah, said three people had been injured. Some shops were also damaged, he added.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the blast.
