Interior ministry reshuffles officials

KABULinfo-icon(PANinfo-icon): In a major administrative reshuffle, the interior ministry has posted and transferred senior officials at provincial and district levels in many provinces, the ministry said on Sunday.

According to a notification issued by the interior ministry, Maj. Gen. Samiullah Qatra has been appointed as police chief of northern Kunduz province, Brig. Gen. Khudayar Qadusi as police chief of Ghorinfo-icon, Brig. Gen. Ali Shah Ahmadzai as chief of local police, Col. Ghulam Sakhi as police chief of Logar, and Col. Fazal Ahmad Sherzad as police chief of Uruzgan province.

The notification further said Brig. Gen. Ghulam Mustafa was appointed head of plan and operation department at the interior ministry, Maj. Gen. Sayed Noorullah Zal as chief of staff college, Brig. Gen. Shah Alam Sapand as training chief at National Police Academy, Brig. Gen. Abdul Razaq as chief of 101 police zone of Kabul, Brig. Gen. Abdul Khalil as police chief of Samangan and Brig. Gen. Ghulam Dastagir Rostamyar as deputy of 505 Spin Ghar police zone.

It said Brig. Gen. Khan Mohammad has been appointed as advisor to interior minister on crime affairs and Col. Faizullah as advisor on administrative affairs.
