ISAF military vehicle blown up in Laghman
MEHTARLAM (PAN): A vehicle of foreign troops was blown up in the Alingar district of eastern Laghman province on Wednesday, an official said.
The blast took place in the Kanda Rajai area when a landmine exploded beneath a military vehicle of international troops at about 3pm, the district chief, Qazi Nangyalai Siddiqui, said. The vehicle was comprehensive destroyed in the explosion, he said, but he had no information about casualties.
The provincial reconstruction team's media office said some troops inside the vehicle were wounded in the blast. However, it did not provide further details.
The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack. Rebel spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said three foreign troops were killed.
