MAHMOOD RAQI (PAN): Three civilians were wounded when a bomb-rigged motorcycle exploded in Nijrab district of central Kapisa province on Wednesday, officials said.
The blast took place in the Chogan bazaar at 11:30am, the district chief, Sultan Mohammad Safi, told Pajhwok Afghan News. He said it was a remotely controlled blast that injured three civilians.
The injured were rushed to the district hospital, Safi said, adding a search had been launched for the perpetrators.
But a provincial council member, Najibullah Rahimi, said the explosion was a suicide attack that killed the bomber and injured three civilians.
