ISLAMABAD (PAN border on Wednesday, officials said.

The unmanned spy plane fired at least seven missiles near Wana, the agency headquarters, hitting a house, a motorcycle and a car, political administration official Khiyal Gul told Pajhwok Afghan news.

Seven people were killed and another 10 wounded in the airstrike that took place in the remote Angor Ada area, he said. They were unable to ascertain whether militants or civilians were killed in the raid.

Salim, a resident of the area, said the drone hit a vehicle carrying militants and a house used by insurgents. The Taliban cordoned off the sites to retrieve the dead and wounded.

The latest attack came three weeks after several missiles fired from an American drone struck a meeting of local tribal elders on settling a dispute over a mine in Datakhel area.  Twenty-six people, some of them Taliban fighters, were killed in the attack.
