Kidnapped child freed in Khost
KHSOT CITY (PAN): An abducted child was freed and seven criminals, including three kidnappers, were arrested in southeastern Khost province, his grandfather said on Wednesday.
The child was abducted from the Momandzai area of Ismailkhel district on Tuesday. Police launched a search operation, rescued the child and arrested three kidnappers from a house the same night.
The 10-year-old Hamza was kidnapped while returning home from school, said his grandfather, Khan Wali. "We quickly reported the incident to police and found him after a search operation."
Elsewhere Afghan police recovered and defused four roadside bombs in Khost City. Two suspects were arrested.
