KABUL): More than 240 law graduates appeared in an entry test for an internship programme at the Kabul University on Friday, a professor said.
As many as 242 graduates from Faculties of Law and Islamic Studies, as well as employees of the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General’s Office sat the examination.
Faculty of Law Dean Prof. Wadir Safi said 200 of the examinees — 100 graduates and as many government servants — would be selected for internship.
He said the nine-month programme involved two semesters, each lasting four months and a half. The exam was conducted in presence of higher education ministry and attorney general office’s representatives.
“The programme will help us improve our practical knowledge of law,” hoped Asadullah, a Kabul University law graduate. The course would spur efforts at combating corruption, he believed.
