Gulbadin Hekmatyar’s nephew, Habibullah Shahab, died during an International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) airstrike in the Nirkh district, the HIA spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The ISAF raid came soon after an armed group positioned antiaircraft guns on a mountaintop in the Pali Wiala area, said the governor’s spokesman, Shahidullah Shahid.

Four gunmen were killed during the strike, according to Shahid, who had no information about the backgrounds of the dead.
