4 NATO-led soldiers killed in roadside blasts

KABULinfo-icon (PANinfo-icon): Four foreign soldiers were killed in separate militant attacks in southern and eastern Afghanistaninfo-icon over the past 24 hours, the International Security Assistance Force (IASF) said on Sunday.

The deaths resulted from roadside bombings, a weapon of choice for Talibaninfo-icon fighters, the alliance said in separate statements that neither disclosed the soldiers' nationalities nor the exact locations of the attacks.

Since the beginning of 2011, 140 international soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan. In 2010, the deadliest year for NATOinfo-icon-led troops, 714 ISAFinfo-icon servicemembers were killed in the country.
