4 NATO-led soldiers killed in roadside blasts

KABUL over the past 24 hours, the International Security Assistance Force (IASF) said on Sunday.

The deaths resulted from roadside bombings, a weapon of choice for Taliban fighters, the alliance said in separate statements that neither disclosed the soldiers’ nationalities nor the exact locations of the attacks.

Since the beginning of 2011, 140 international soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan. In 2010, the deadliest year for NATO servicemembers were killed in the country.
