PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): A 10-bed hospital, funded by the Disbandment of Illegal Armed Groups (DIAG), was inaugurated in Khoshi district of central Logar province on Tuesday, the governor’s spokesman said.
Built at a cost of $260,000 (11.8 million afghanis), the hospital has an operation theatre, as well as gynecology and children’s wards, Din Mohammad Darwaish told Pajhwok Afghans.
He said the hospital, constructed over 2.5 acres of land in 18 months, had three female and four lady doctors. The health centre was equipped with modern facilities, the spokesman added.
