GARDEZ (PAN): Three civilians, including a child, were killed in an airstrike by NATO-led forces in southeastern Paktia province, an official said on Wednesday. But the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) denied conducting an air raid in the area.
The air raid happened in the Shahkhel area of Girda Serai district late on Tuesday night, the district chief, Attiqullah Batoori, told Pajhwok Afghan News. The civilians were killed just outside their residence.
"Foreign troops bombed the three youngsters who were looking for their missing cow in a nearby mountain," said resident Habibullah. "All the three were killed in the overnight strike," he added.
