ZARANJ (PAN): Police confiscated up to 600 kilograms of narcotics during a raid on a house in the southwestern province of Nimroz, officials said on Sunday.
The raid was carried out in Zaranj city, the provincial capital, on Saturday night, police chief, Brig. Gen. Adul Jabar Purdali, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A person was detained in connection with the drugs that include 85 kgs of crystal, 26 kgs of heroin and more than 500 kgs of opium, he added.
On Saturday, border police detained two people on the charge of trafficking opium in Kang district.
