NATO supply trucks torched in Balochistan

QUETTA(PAN-based international troops, torching two containers, police said.

The attackers riding on motorcycles intercepted the convoy in Ghounja Doori area of Balochistan province, which shares border with Afghanistan, local police officer, Rafiullah, told Pajhwok Afghan News. They sprinkled petrol and set two trucks ablaze, he said.

The assailants managed to flee after the attack before police could reach the scene, the police official said. However, he said a search operation had been launched to hunt down the attackers.

There was no claim of responsibility for the attack, but such incidents are blamed on the Taliban insurgents operating in the region.
