ISLAMABAD(PAN killed three men they accused of being the government and US spies, an official said on Sunday.
The three had been abducted by militants in North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border few days ago on the charge of spying for Pakistani forces and the US, Mohammad Wazir, a local security official, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A Miranshah resident, Sangin Dawar, said the bodies were found dumped on the side of a road in Data Khil area, the scene of frequent US drone attacks.
He said a letter was found attached to one of the dead bodies.
The letter said these men were killed on the charge of spying and cooperation with the government and America. It had warned if anyone was found spying for the government would meet the same fate.
The Taliban in Pakistan troubled federally administered tribal areas regularly kill people on similar charges.
