9 insurgents killed in Zabul offensive

QALAT (PAN insurgents were killed during an operation by Afghan and foreign troops in the southern province of Zabul, officials said on Tuesday.

The operation on Tuesday morning was conducted in Zarinkhel area of Nawbahar district, deputy governor, Mohammad Jan Rasulyar, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Some weapons and ammunitions were also recovered by the forces, who stayed unhurt during the offensive.
