ANP member among 4 gunned down in Swat
ISLAMABAD (PAN): Four members of the ruling Awami National Party (ANP) were gunned down by unidentified assailants in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, authorities said on Saturday.
The shooting that took place late on Friday in the Shakar Dara area of Mata in the scenic Swat Valley left Muzaffar Khan and three of his associates dead, resident Jamil Yousafzai told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Although police insisted the men were killed as a result of enmity, Yousafzai blamed militants for the attack. Sahibullah, a relative of the Pakhtun nationalist party's member, said: "We don't have enmity with anyone."
