“The landing site has been secured and all personnel are accounted for. There are no casualties as a result of the precautionary landing,” the NATO-led force said.
With the cause of the incident under investigation, ISAF said in a brief statement there were no reports of “enemy fire” in the area.
On Thursday, a NATO-led soldier was killed in a helicopter crash in the southeastern Paktika province. The copter was destroyed following the crash in Nika district.
