Khost motorcycle explosion injures 4

KHOST CITY (PAN): At least 4 civilians were injured when a bomb planted on a motorcycle ripped through a market in southeastern Khost province on Monday, the provincial police chief said.

The explosion happened in the provincial capital Khost City, Brig. Gen Abdul Hakim Ishaqzai told Pajhwok Afghan News. He gave no further details.

 “Four injured people were brought to hospital and one of them is in a critical condition,” a doctor at the Khost Civil Hospital said on condition of anonymity.

In another incident, a mine planted by militants outside the governor’s residence was defused by security forces, the police chief said.
