ANA to host 1st Afghan-led graduation ceremony

KABUL): The Afghan National Army (ANA) will host a graduation ceremony for the first Afghan-led Sgt. Maj. Course at the Kabul Military Training Centre (KMTC) on Thursday.

Led by ANA instructors, the 22-week course will conclude with the graduation of 26 sergeant majors, the highest enlisted rank in Afghan army. The ceremony will include graduates from the ANA, police and air force.

ISAF integration, computer sciences and artillery school schools.

“A total of 519 ANA troops will be graduating from their respective schools at the KMTC parade grounds on June 2,” a statement from the NATO-led force said.
