PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN): One policeman was killed and two others were injured in a roadside bombing in the northern province of Baghlan on Tuesday, officials said.

The incident took place at 9:40am when a police vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the Sar-i-Chowk area of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital, the traffic department head told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Capt. Mohammad said there were three policemen in the vehicle and one of them was killed and two were wounded.

“It was at about 9am when the police vehicle was blown up,” witness Mohammad Karim said. Civilians suffered no casualties in the blast, he added.
