3 security guards injured in Kunar suicide blast
ASADABAD (PAN): Three Afghan security guards were injured in a suicide bombing in the eastern province of Kunar, officials said on Saturday.
The explosion took place at 1pm in Lahore Daag area of Marawara district, where Counterterrorism Pursuit Teams (CTP) were escorting foreign troops,
A burqa-clad suicide bomber blew himself up when the troops they were passing through the area, deputy police chief, Abdul Saboor Allahyar, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Three Afghan security guards injured in the attack were taken to the Asadabad Civil Hospital, he said, without commenting on their condition. No one has so far claimed responsibility for the suicide attack.
