ASADABAD (PAN): A newly-constructed building for a school was inaugurated in eastern Kunar province, officials said on Friday.

It has also solar electricity system, a boundary wall and the drinking water facility. He said chairs, desks and other equipment for 300 students had been made available.
The PRT head said the project was implemented in consultations with local education officials in order to enable students to continue with their studies in a peaceful environment.
He urged tribal elders to cooperate with the government in keeping security of school buildings.
District chief, Habibur Rahman Mamoon, said all schools in his district were operational. However, he complained a lack of proper buildings was discouraging students, particularly girls, from continuing with their education.
