Car accident claims 2 lives in Nimroz

ZARANJ (PAN): Two people died and nine others were wounded in road accident in the southwestern province of Nimroz, an official said on Sunday.

The incident took place Saturday evening when a car transporting 11 passengers flipped over in Dilaran district on Zaranj-Dilaram road, the district chief, Khodaidad, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The driver was going fast and lost control of his car, he said.

All the injured were male. They were taken to health facility for US troops in Shorabak district of neighbouring Helmand province.
