Two ISAF soldiers killed in east
KABUL (PAN): Two foreign soldiers were killed Monday in separate insurgent attacks in eastern Afghanistan, according to two statements issued Tuesday by the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), said on Tuesday.
In line with its policy, ISAF neither disclosed the nationalities of the fallen soldiers nor the exact location of the incidents, but US troops do the bulk of the fighting in Afghanistan’s eastern provinces.
Since the beginning of 2011, 252 foreign soldiers have been killed, compared to 711 killed in all of 2010.
