Officials among five killed in Jawzjan blast
SHIBERGHAN (PAN): Two senior district officials and three policemen were killed and two others policemen were injured when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb, the Taliban's weapon of choice, in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Friday.
The Mangjak district police chief, Lft. Haq Nazar, and the district attorney, Agha Guldi, and three policemen were killed in the blast that happened in the Shikhraz village late on Thursday, the provincial deputy police chief, Col. Mohammad Ibrahim, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Another two policemen injured in the attack were rushed to the district civil hospital.
