GHAZNI CITY (PANinfo-icon): Seven civilians were killed in two separate roadside bombings in southern Ghazni province on Monday, the Interior Ministry said.

An improvised explosive device struck a civilian car in the Zardalo area of Qarah Bagh district at around 7:30 am, killing four occupants of the vehicle, the Ministry said in a statement.

The second incident took place in Ghazni City half an hour after the first, leaving three people dead including a woman, the statement said.

Provincial Police Chief Col. Zarawar Zahid confirmed both the incidents, saying that two children had been among the four killed in Zardalo.

Zahid blamed the Talibaninfo-icon for planting roadside bombs that killed civilians, though the Taliban has not claimed responsibility so far.
